Which model should I use?
For images, start with the default Seedream model. For video, Seedance 2.0 is the all-rounder, Seedance 2 Fast is quicker and cheaper, Seedance 2.0 Mini is the cheapest, and Seedance 2.5 is the premium choice.
- Seedance 2.0: the default. 4–15 seconds, up to 4K, and the most reference types (up to 9 images, 3 videos and 3 audio clips).
- Seedance 2 Fast: quicker and cheaper, up to 1080p.
- Seedance 2.0 Mini: the cheapest, up to 1080p.
- Seedance 2.5: best motion and detail, up to 30 seconds and 4K.
- Seedance 1.5: use two images as start and end frames.
- Images: the default Seedream model handles most styles and up to 14 references. Seedream 5.0 Pro goes up to 2K.
Each model shows its cost on the Generate button, so it's easy to compare before you create.
