How is MCP usage billed?
Through the connector, each generation spends your plan credits at the same price as the studio: a Seedream 5.0 Pro image at 2K is 3 credits and a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip is 20. The developer MCP server spends Developer API tokens instead.
- There's no extra fee for using MCP. The price is the same as making the same thing in the studio, and longer or higher-quality video costs more.
- Failed and blocked generations are refunded automatically.
- Ask the assistant to call get_account to see your plan and the credits you have left.
- Your plan's rules still apply, so 1080p and 4K video are available on Pro, Max, and Business.
- Developer MCP calls are priced in tokens like the API: list_models shows each model's token cost, and get_balance shows your balance.
