Get a key and make your first clip

Create an account
Open developers.kreatorflow.ai and sign in with email or Google. It is the same account as the KreatorFlow studio.

Create an API key
On the API keys tab, create a key and copy it once; it is shown in full only at creation. Give it only the scopes you need, for example videos:create.

Top up tokens
Add $20 or more by card. One token is $0.05, and the balance is shared by every key on the account.

Store the key on your server
Set it as KREATORFLOW_API_KEY in your server environment. Never put it in a browser, a mobile app or a public repository.

Send your first job
POST https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/videos with a model, prompt, duration, aspect_ratio and resolution. A 5 second Seedance 2.0 clip at 720p costs $0.55.
Is this an official Seedance API key?
Seedance is ByteDance's video model. Going to BytePlus directly means an enterprise account and its own sign-up process. The KreatorFlow key is KreatorFlow's own API key: KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company, and it sends your Seedance requests through BytePlus behind stable model names such as kreator-video-seedance-2-5 and kreator-video-pro.
What that means for you: one sign-up, a card top-up instead of a contract, and one key for every Seedance and Seedream model plus text to speech.
Which scopes does a Seedance key need?
Give each key the smallest set of scopes it needs, so a leaked key can do less. For Seedance video jobs you need videos:create; add uploads if you send reference files, and the matching scope for images or audio if you use those.
- videos:create for POST /v1/videos and /v1/video-edits
- Upload access for POST /v1/uploads (reference images, clips and audio)
- One key per environment (development, staging, production), so you can revoke one without touching the others
What does the first call look like?
Create the job, then poll it or wait for a webhook.

What if my key leaks?
Revoke it on the API keys tab and create a new one; revoked keys stop working straight away. Then check recent jobs on the Logs tab for anything you did not send.
