What's the difference between the MCP connector and the developer MCP server?
There are two MCP servers. The connector at https://kreatorflow.ai/api/mcp is for Claude, ChatGPT and other apps: you sign in with your KreatorFlow account and pay with plan credits. The developer server at https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/mcp takes a kf_ API key and spends Developer API tokens.
- Connector (https://kreatorflow.ai/api/mcp): OAuth sign-in, needs a paid plan, spends plan credits at studio prices. Tools: get_account, generate_image, generate_video, get_job.
- Developer server (https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/mcp): send your API key as Authorization: Bearer kf_... (or an x-api-key header). It runs the same /v1 API with the same scopes, token prices and job records. Tools: list_models, generate_image, generate_video, edit_video, get_job, get_balance.
- Plan credits and API tokens are separate balances. Credits don't pay for API calls, and tokens don't pay for studio or connector generations.
Pick the connector to create from a chat app. Pick the developer server for your own agents, scripts and backends, or when you need video edits and model choice from list_models.
