Short answer

On the KreatorFlow API, a 1080p Seedance video costs $0.240 per second on Seedance 2.0, so a 5-second clip is $1.20; Seedance 2.0 Fast is $0.183 per second. That is about 2.2x the 720p rate. Prices are per second of output, quoted before the job runs, with up to 10% off on volume pricing. As of 21 October 2026.

Work out a 1080p Seedance API bill in four steps

  1. 1

    Pick the model

Each model has its own 1080p rate. Seedance 2.0 Fast costs less than Seedance 2.0 and is fine for many social clips. The table below lists them all.

  2. 2

    Multiply by the clip length

Rate times seconds of output is the price. Input images and sound do not change it; only reference video seconds add to it.

  3. 3

    Round up to whole tokens

Each job is rounded up to the next whole token ($0.05). The create response shows quoted_token_cost before the job runs.

  4. 4

    Apply your volume tier

With higher top-ups over 30 days, the price drops by up to 10%, automatically.

Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, 720p and above. Top-up columns: 5-second clips each top-up covers, without a video input. Billing is per second of video, so a 10-second clip uses twice the tokens.

How much does a 1080p Seedance video cost on the API?

Seedance 2.0 at 1080p is $0.240 per second: $1.20 for 5 seconds. Seedance 2.0 Fast is $0.183 per second, $0.95 for 5 seconds. Every model and its longest single clip is in the table below, read from the rate card that bills the job.

You pay for seconds of video out. Image references, first and last frames and generated sound are included in that rate; a reference video adds its seconds at 60% of the rate. A job that fails, is blocked or is canceled releases its tokens, so you are not charged for a 1080p clip you did not get.

Is 1080p worth it over 720p?

1080p costs about 2.2x the 720p rate ($0.240 against $0.110 per second on Seedance 2.0). It has 2.25 times the pixels, so the price per pixel is lower at 1080p. Whether that is worth it depends on where the clip ends up.

  • Worth it: YouTube and websites watched full screen, product and brand ads, clips you will crop or reframe later, anything with small text or fine detail
  • Often not needed: phone-first social feeds, where most viewers watch on a small screen and the platform compresses the upload
  • Never needed: prompt tests and drafts; get the motion and framing right at 720p first
  • Source matters: a 1080p clip from a small or soft source image will still look soft

What does 1080p cost at scale?

Most teams do not render everything at 1080p. They draft at 720p, keep the best takes and render only those in Full HD. Here is what that looks like at list prices:

  • 100 clips of 5 s at 1080p on Seedance 2.0: $120.00 ($110.00 at volume)
  • The same 100 clips at 720p: $55.00
  • 100 clips of 5 s at 1080p on Seedance 2.0 Fast: $95.00
  • Draft at 720p, then render the best 20 at 1080p: $79.00 for 100 drafts and 20 finals
  • Draft on Seedance 2.0 Fast at 720p, final on Seedance 2.0 at 1080p: $69.00 for the same 100 drafts and 20 finals

How does that compare with other Seedance APIs at 1080p?

The second table compares one 5-second 1080p clip with the published price of Segmind, Runware, Atlas Cloud, Replicate, EvoLink, Kie.ai, Higgsfield API, WaveSpeedAI and fal.ai, for the same model and resolution. It lists a provider only where KreatorFlow costs less, and every price links to the page it was read on, with the date. Some providers offer their own account or volume deals, and prices change, so check the source before you decide.

Is there a volume price for 1080p?

Yes. Volume pricing applies to Seedance video at every resolution. Once your paid top-ups over the last 30 days reach a tier, the per-second price drops automatically, up to 10% off from $5,000 (Enterprise). No contract; each job's quote shows your price before it runs. The at-volume column shows a 5-second 1080p clip on the Enterprise tier.

How do I keep 1080p costs down?

The biggest saving is a 1080p clip you only render once. These habits cut most bills:

  • Draft at 720p or on Seedance 2.0 Fast, then render only the takes you keep at 1080p
  • Use the shortest length that tells the story; price is per second
  • Send an Idempotency-Key with every create call, so a retried request never makes and bills a second clip
  • Fix prompts before you scale: a clear camera move and one action beat rerolling the same vague prompt
  • Check quoted_token_cost in the create response, and stop a batch early if it is not what you expect

What about 4K?

Some Seedance models on the API also take 4k as a resolution, at a higher per-second rate. For most web and social use, 1080p is the better price for the detail people can see; 4K pays off for large screens and heavy cropping. GET /v1/models lists the resolutions each model accepts.
