Higgsfield Genjutsu vs KreatorFlow Kitsune: head-to-head

Higgsfield Genjutsu vs KreatorFlow Kitsune, feature by feature: inputs, resolutions, styles, object swap, audio, billing and which to use, from official docs.

  • Feature by feature
  • Billing explained
  • Same-clip workflow
  • Official sources, dated

Short answer

Both turn one existing clip into a new one with motion transfer or object swap, from a single reference video (Genjutsu: 4 to 30 seconds; Kitsune: 4 to 30). Genjutsu takes more references, up to 30 images against Kitsune's 4, and offers 30+ presets. Kitsune renders up to 4K, keeps your clip's own sound, has 21 art styles and 8 colour filters, and charges by your clip's length. At 720p and 1080p, one Kitsune clip costs less than Higgsfield's published Genjutsu price. Genjutsu facts come from Higgsfield's own pages, checked on 7 October 2026.

Updated:

The same clip in both, step by step

  1. 1

    Pick one clip both accept

Any reference video from 4 to 30 seconds works in both. Kitsune takes MP4, MOV or WebM up to 200 MB, 300 to 6,000 pixels a side. Higgsfield's pages do not list formats or sizes for Genjutsu, so check its uploader before you export.

  2. 2

    Choose the same mode

Motion transfer keeps the moves, camera and timing and recasts the performer; object swap keeps the shot and replaces one element. Both tools offer both modes, so use the same one in each.

  3. 3

    Add the same character

Kitsune takes 1 to 4 images per job (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 50 MB each); Genjutsu takes up to 30 reference images. For a fair test, upload the same 4 or fewer images to both.

  4. 4

    Keep the direction equal

Kitsune takes an optional prompt of up to 600 characters, or one of 21 art styles in place of a character image. Genjutsu runs from a preset or a short description. Give both the same short description, or none at all.

  5. 5

Match the resolution and note the cost

Pick a resolution both offer: Higgsfield lists 1080p as Genjutsu's highest. Kitsune's Generate button shows the exact credits first, and Higgsfield says each Genjutsu run shows its credit cost before you generate. Write both down.

  6. 6

    Compare the results in full

Watch both clips to the end: the performer's face and hands, the camera, the background and the sound (Kitsune puts your clip's own sound back on the result). Judge the clips you actually got, not demo reels.

One clip, where Kitsune costs less: 720p and 1080p

Higgsfield publishes Genjutsu prices for 15-second clips only, so this compares one 15-second clip. Kitsune's side comes from its credit rule and our prices: a top-up credit pack's price per credit (packs come on top of a plan), or the guaranteed monthly credits of our cheapest plan for that resolution at the renewal price. Only the settings and options where Kitsune costs less are listed.

Which should you use?

Both do the core job: keep a performance and change who, or what, is in it. The better pick depends on the clip and on what you need back.

  • Genjutsu, when one generation needs many references: up to 30 images for characters, outfits, products and locations, against Kitsune's 4.
  • Genjutsu, when you want to start from a ready-made look: Higgsfield lists 30+ presets and lets you run many versions from one setup.
  • Genjutsu, if you already create on Higgsfield and want to stay on its credits.
  • Kitsune, when you need 4K: it renders 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K, while Higgsfield lists 1080p as Genjutsu's highest.
  • Kitsune, for dance and music clips: it puts your clip's own sound back on the result.
  • Kitsune, to restyle the performer: 21 art styles in place of a character image, and 8 colour filters that grade the finished clip.
  • Kitsune, for clips that are not 15 seconds long: it charges by your clip's length and shows the exact credits before you generate.
  • Kitsune, on price at 720p and 1080p: see the cost of one clip above.

How each one charges

Kitsune charges KreatorFlow credits per job, worked out from the length of your clip and the resolution you pick. The seconds of the clip you upload count as well as the seconds it renders, and the result is as long as your clip, so the cost follows the clip's length. At 720p: 22 credits for 4 seconds, 80 credits for 15 seconds and 160 credits for 30 seconds. The Generate button shows the exact credits before anything is charged.

Genjutsu uses Higgsfield's standard credit system. Each run shows its credit cost before you generate, Motion Transfer and Object Swap cost the same, and the price depends on length and resolution. Higgsfield publishes prices for 15-second clips at 480p, 720p and 1080p; its pages do not say whether the seconds you upload count.

Comparing tools, or moving off Genjutsu?

This guide puts the two tools side by side. If you have already decided to switch, the Genjutsu alternative page works through the cost of one clip on our plans and credit packs, and the motion transfer page explains Kitsune on its own.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Higgsfield Genjutsu and KreatorFlow Kitsune?

Both keep the motion of a reference clip and change who or what is in it, with motion transfer and object swap. Genjutsu takes more reference images (up to 30) and offers 30+ presets. Kitsune renders up to 4K, keeps your clip's sound, and offers 21 art styles and 8 colour filters.

Which one takes more character images?

Genjutsu: up to 30 reference images per generation, according to Higgsfield. Kitsune: 1 to 4 per job. With one performer in the clip they are read as angles of the same character; with several, each image replaces one person from left to right.

Do Genjutsu and Kitsune render in 4K?

Kitsune renders 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K; 1080p and 4K come with Pro, Max and Business. Higgsfield lists 1080p as Genjutsu's highest output resolution.

Am I charged for the seconds of the clip I upload?

On Kitsune, yes: the credits count the seconds you upload as well as the seconds rendered, and the Generate button shows the total first. For Genjutsu, Higgsfield says the price depends on length and resolution, but its pages do not say whether the uploaded seconds count.

Can I run the same clip through both?

Yes. Any clip from 4 to 30 seconds fits both. Use the same mode, the same character images and the same short description, then compare the results in full. The step-by-step workflow on this page lists what to match.

Do both have presets or art styles?

Genjutsu has 30+ presets that can drive the change without a prompt, according to Higgsfield. Kitsune has 21 art styles that redraw the performer in a new look, and 8 colour filters for the finished clip.

Where do the Genjutsu facts on this page come from?

Only from Higgsfield's own pages: the Genjutsu product page with its FAQ, and the blog post with the key settings and pricing table, checked on 7 October 2026. What those pages do not state, such as file formats, output length or whether the sound is kept, is marked as not listed.
