Made with Kartoonz
A school story with tension
The 1:30 example made in Kartoonz is set in a school corridor: a boy in a red hoodie, two older students in varsity jackets and a lot left unsaid. Drama works in cartoon form because faces and moods read instantly, even with the sound off and captions on.
Rivalries, secrets, heartbreak and twists. Describe the drama in a line and Kartoonz turns it into an animated story with sound, word-by-word captions and a real ending, or a cliffhanger. 15 seconds to 8 minutes, in 720p.
- Soap-style storylines
- Cliffhangers
- Up to 8 min

Edit the story before it is made so every twist lands where you want it.
Captions for every line
Word-by-word captions keep viewers with you when the sound is off.
Room for a full arc
Up to 8 minutes: enough for a setup, a turn and a payoff in one video.
Parts and cliffhangers

Questions about the AI cartoon maker
What kind of drama can I make?
Anything you can describe in a few lines: school, family, romance, workplace or fantasy. Kartoonz writes the story from your idea, and you can edit it before anything is made. Stories still have to follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
Can I write the twist myself?
Yes. Choose Shape the story first: you get the story as editable text, so you can rewrite the reveal or the last line before making the cartoon.
Can I make a drama in several parts?
Yes, as separate cartoons. Each one is written from its own idea, so add the same characters from your assets and a one-line recap to every part.
Do the characters speak?
Cartoons come with sound, including the characters' lines when the story has dialogue. With captions on, Kartoonz writes word-by-word captions timed to what they say.
How long can a drama be?
From 15 seconds up to 8 minutes per cartoon, chosen on a slider that goes up a minute at a time after 15 seconds.
How much does an animated drama cost?
252 credits a minute on Ultra, 189 credits on Pro and 63 credits on Lite, charged once for the whole cartoon. Captions are included.
Can I post my dramas commercially?
On a paid plan, you own what you create and can use it commercially. Content made on the free tier is for personal use only. Either way, you are responsible for what you publish, including the rights to any character or image you upload.
