How to make a 5 minute cartoon and see the price first
- 1
Open Kartoonz
Kartoonz is on the Creator, Pro, Max and Business plans. Open it from the menu or at kreatorflow.ai/kartoonz.
- 2
Write one idea and add your characters
One line about what happens and who it stars. Add saved characters or your own pictures, the lead first, or let Kartoonz design one.
- 3
Pick the model and set the length to 5 min
Choose Seedance 2.0 Mini, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 or Seedance 2.5, then move the length slider to 5 min. The credit price on the button updates as you go.
- 4
Check the story, then make it
Shape the story first lets you read and edit the story before anything is made, at no cost. Then press Make my cartoon. The credits are charged once, for the whole cartoon.

The exact credits the studio charges for a finished cartoon in 720p, from the same function it charges with. Captions add nothing. The price is the same for every style and shape.

What a month of each plan covers

| Plan | Regular price | Credits a month | 5 min on Seedance 2.0 Mini | 5 min on Seedance 2.0 | 5 min on Seedance 2.5 |

A 5 minute cartoon on "Lite" in 720p
The model the Kartoonz menu used to call Lite is now named Seedance 2.0 Mini. A complete 5 minute cartoon on it is 630 credits, and every Kartoonz model delivers 720p. A 6 minute one is 756 credits.
Do not confuse it with the Lite plan: Kartoonz is not on the Lite plan or the free plan, only on Creator, Pro, Max and Business.
Does the Pro plan support a 5 minute cartoon?
Yes. Pro gives up to 1,050 credits a month (credits added right away plus daily claims), enough for 1 five minute cartoon on Seedance 2.0 Mini or 1 on Seedance 2.0. For Seedance 2.5 (1,260 credits), add a credit pack or use Max, which covers 1.
Creator (up to 525 credits a month) covers about 4 minutes on Seedance 2.0 Mini, so a full 5 minute cartoon needs 105 more credits from a credit pack.
Is it fully animated, with movement and voices?
Yes. One idea becomes one finished cartoon: Kartoonz writes the story, animates it with your characters, and the characters move, speak their lines and lip sync, with sound. Two or more characters can talk in the same cartoon.
You choose one of 5 styles (3D cartoon, anime, comic book, claymation and ink Toon), portrait 9:16, square 1:1 or landscape 16:9, and 3 caption looks with 1 to 4 words per line, or no captions. Captions are free and you can download with or without subtitles.
What Kartoonz does not do
Good to know before you spend credits on a long cartoon:
- No voice picker or voice cloning inside Kartoonz. Voices are made with the cartoon and stay close, but an identical voice across a long cartoon is not promised.
- No swapping one character's voice or mouth movement in a finished cartoon. You can trim, cut and join it in the video Editor.
- No photorealistic style: it makes cartoons.
- No cartoon longer than 8 minutes in one go. For longer, make parts and join them in the Editor.
If a cartoon fails
Credits are charged once, when the cartoon starts. If your balance is too low, nothing is charged. If it fails before anything is animated, the credits go back to your balance automatically.
