Troubleshooting
Solve common issues with generation times, image quality, distortions, and other problems.
Why is my generation taking too long?
Generation times can vary based on several factors, including current server load, the complexity of your prompt, selected output quality, and the specific AI model being used. Video generations inherently take longer than images.
If you experience unusually long wait times:
- Check our platform status page or Discord community for any announced service disruptions
- Try a simpler prompt or lower quality settings to see if it processes faster
- Consider the time of day - peak hours may have longer queues
- Video generations typically take 2-5 minutes, images 30 seconds to 2 minutes
- If issues persist for multiple attempts, contact our support team
Typical Generation Times:
Images:
- • Standard: 30-60 seconds
- • High quality: 1-2 minutes
- • Character models: 1-3 minutes
Videos:
- • Short clips: 2-3 minutes
- • Standard videos: 3-5 minutes
- • Complex scenes: 5-8 minutes
Why is my image or video blurry?
Blurriness can result from several factors related to resolution settings, prompt complexity, and generation parameters.
Common Causes & Solutions:
Low Resolution Output:
Ensure you've selected an adequate resolution for your needs. Higher resolutions generally yield sharper results but may cost more credits.
Complex Prompts/Scenes:
Overly complex prompts can challenge the AI, leading to less focused results. Try simplifying your prompt.
Negative Prompts:
Add terms like "blurry," "out of focus," "low quality" to your negative prompt to guide the AI away from these outcomes.
Upscaling:
Use available upscaling features to enhance the sharpness and detail of generated images.
Why do I see artifacts or weird distortions?
AI image and video generation is sophisticated, but occasional artifacts (like unusual hands, extra limbs, or strange object morphing) can occur. This is more common with highly complex or imaginative prompts.
How to Fix Artifacts:
Refine Your Prompt:
Try rephrasing your prompt or being more specific about certain elements.
Use Negative Prompts:
Add terms describing artifacts you want to avoid (e.g., "extra fingers," "distorted face," "glossy skin," "mutated").
Iterate:
Generate multiple variations. Sometimes, a slightly different seed will produce much better results.
Model Version:
Experiment with different model versions or engine types, as some handle certain content types better.
Common Negative Prompts:
How do I fix a character model that looks too generic or distorted?
If your trained character model isn't consistently producing the desired likeness or looks too generic, there are several approaches to improve the results.
Character Model Optimization:
Base Image Quality:
Revisit the base image used for training. A clear, high-resolution, well-lit, front-facing image is crucial.
Prompting for Likeness:
Ensure you're using "My character..." at the start of your prompts for consistency.
Face Strength Parameter:
If generation settings include a "face strength" or "likeness" parameter, experiment with increasing its value.
Avoid Conflicting Styles:
Strong stylistic prompts that conflict with the character's appearance might dilute the likeness.
Re-train if Necessary:
If issues persist, create a new character model using a different, higher-quality base image.
Ideal Base Image Characteristics:
- High resolution (1024x1024 or higher)
- Clear, well-lit subject
- Front-facing or slight angle
- Minimal background distractions
- Natural expression
- Sharp focus on facial features
