Switching from EvoLink

What changes in a Seedance request when you move it from EvoLink to the KreatorFlow API. EvoLink's side is described as its own API docs show it, with the link below.

  1. Send the job to POST https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/videos instead of POST https://api.evolink.ai/v1/videos/generations.
  2. Authenticate with Authorization: Bearer $KREATORFLOW_API_KEY, a key from the developer console, instead of Authorization: Bearer $EVOLINK_API_KEY.
  3. Name the model in the body: "kreator-video-seedance-2" for Seedance 2.0, "kreator-video-seedance-2-5" for Seedance 2.5.
  4. Keep the flat JSON body, with one field renamed: quality → resolution. The other fields keep their names.
  5. Use a clip length of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 seconds.
  6. Send generate_audio: true if you want audio: it is on by default there and off by default here.
  7. Replace GET https://api.evolink.ai/v1/tasks/{task_id} and callback_url with webhook_url (signed with X-KreatorFlow-Signature) or GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}, and add an Idempotency-Key header so a retried request returns the same job.

FAQ

Is the KreatorFlow API cheaper than EvoLink for Seedance?

At every setting in the table, yes: Seedance 2.0 at 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K, and Seedance 2.5 at 720p and 1080p, between 13% and 51% less per clip. For example, Seedance 2.0 at 720p is $0.110 per second on KreatorFlow against $0.199 on EvoLink: $0.55 against $1 for a 5-second clip. Settings where EvoLink costs the same or less are not listed.

Is it the same Seedance model?

Both APIs sell ByteDance's Seedance under that name. KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company.

How does KreatorFlow API billing work?

You buy prepaid tokens (1 token = $0.05, top-ups from $20). A video job costs its per-second rate times the clip length, rounded to the next whole token. Tokens reserved for a failed job are released.

EvoLink sets the resolution with quality. What do I send to KreatorFlow?

Send resolution with the same values (for example "720p" or "1080p"). The rest of the flat JSON body keeps its field names. Clip lengths are 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 seconds, so move a request of 7, 9, 11, 13 and 14 seconds to a supported length.

How does EvoLink bill video inputs?

Its Seedance 2.0 page bills a video input on top of the output: the billable input is the longer of the input video and the output, added to the output seconds. The table on this page assumes no video input, so it compares output-only prices.

Are failed jobs charged?

EvoLink says a Seedance 2.0 task that ends in a failed state is not charged. On the KreatorFlow API, tokens reserved for a job that fails are released back to your balance.

Is KreatorFlow part of EvoLink?

No. KreatorFlow is an independent company with no connection to EvoLink.
