Where the KreatorFlow API costs less than PiAPI

Price per 5-second clip and per second of video, 16:9, no video input. KreatorFlow rounds each job to the next whole token, so the per-clip price is what you are charged. PiAPI is shown at the price on its own model page. Only settings where KreatorFlow costs less are listed: 6 here, between 6% and 52% less per clip.

Switching from PiAPI

What changes in a Seedance request when you move it from PiAPI to the KreatorFlow API. PiAPI's side is described as its own API docs show it, with the link below.

  1. Send the job to POST https://kreatorflow.ai/v1/videos instead of POST https://api.piapi.ai/api/v1/task.
  2. Authenticate with Authorization: Bearer $KREATORFLOW_API_KEY, a key from the developer console, instead of X-API-Key: $PIAPI_API_KEY.
  3. Name the model in the body: "kreator-video-seedance-2" for Seedance 2.0, "kreator-video-seedance-2-fast" for Seedance 2.0 Fast, "kreator-video-seedance-2-5" for Seedance 2.5.
  4. Send one flat JSON object: a single model field instead of model and task_type, the fields from "input" at the top level, generate_audio instead of audio, and no mode field.
  5. Use a clip length of 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 seconds.
  6. Send generate_audio: true if you want audio: it is on by default there and off by default here.
  7. Replace GET https://api.piapi.ai/api/v1/task/{task_id} and config.webhook_config with webhook_url (signed with X-KreatorFlow-Signature) or GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}, and add an Idempotency-Key header so a retried request returns the same job.

Seedance API prices at volume

The prices above are our list prices. With $5,000 or more in paid top-ups over 30 days (Enterprise), Seedance video costs up to 10% less, applied automatically. Here is one clip at that price, next to the same rival price as above.

Enterprise, $5,000+ top-ups in 30 days. Rival prices are each provider's published rate on the date shown; some offer their own volume or account deals. A setting is shown at volume only where the full tier discount applies.

Volume pricing for the Seedance API

The more you top up, the less Seedance video costs. Your tier comes from the token top-ups you paid for in the last 30 days. It lowers the per-second price of Seedance video and raises your video request limit, automatically, with no contract and no sales call. If your top-ups drop, the tier moves back down.

TierPaid top-ups, last 30 daysSeedance video priceVideo requests / minuteReached in one top-up

Scale$1,000+up to 5% off60Volume pack ($1,250)
Growth$2,500+up to 7.5% off120Volume+ pack ($2,500)
Enterprise$5,000+up to 10% off300Enterprise pack ($5,000)

Every job's quote shows your price before it runs; a few low-priced settings get a smaller discount. Smaller top-ups add up toward a tier too. Price comparisons on this site use list prices unless a price is marked as at volume. Need more volume? Custom pricing for committed monthly spend: email harry@kreatorflow.ai.

Billed per delivered second; each clip's total is rounded up to a whole token ($0.05). "see quote" means that setting gets a smaller discount on that tier, and the job's quote shows the exact price before it runs.

What the KreatorFlow API includes

  • KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company, and the API runs ByteDance's Seedance models through BytePlus.
  • One API key for every model, with scoped permissions.
  • Signed webhooks for job.completed, job.failed, job.canceled and job.blocked, or poll GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}.
  • Prepaid tokens from a $20 top-up, no subscription. Tokens reserved for a job that fails are released back to your balance.

Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, 720p and above. List rate per second is the rate card price; a clip is billed at that rate and its total rounded up to whole tokens ($0.05), which is why a 5-second clip can cost a cent or two more than rate x 5. Top-up columns: 5-second clips each top-up covers, without a video input. A 10-second clip uses about twice the tokens.

FAQ

Is the KreatorFlow API cheaper than PiAPI for Seedance?

At every setting in the table, yes: Seedance 2.0 at 480p, 720p and 1080p, Seedance 2.0 Fast at 720p, and Seedance 2.5 at 720p and 1080p, between 6% and 52% less per clip. For example, Seedance 2.0 at 720p is $0.110 per second on KreatorFlow against $0.200 on PiAPI: $0.55 against $1 for a 5-second clip. Settings where PiAPI costs the same or less are not listed.

Is it the same Seedance model?

Both APIs sell ByteDance's Seedance under that name. KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company.

How does KreatorFlow API billing work?

You buy prepaid tokens (1 token = $0.05, top-ups from $20). A video job costs its per-second rate times the clip length, rounded to the next whole token. Tokens reserved for a failed job are released.

PiAPI names the model with task_type. What do I send to KreatorFlow?

One model field in a flat JSON body, for example kreator-video-seedance-2 where you sent task_type seedance-2. The fields you nested under input go at the top level, and audio becomes generate_audio. Clip lengths are 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 seconds, so move a request of 7, 9, 11, 13 and 14 seconds to a supported length.

How does PiAPI bill input videos?

Its docs bill input videos at half the unit price per second, added to the output seconds. The table on this page assumes no video input, so it compares output-only prices.

PiAPI uses an X-API-Key header. What does KreatorFlow use?

Authorization: Bearer $KREATORFLOW_API_KEY, with a key from the developer console. Instead of polling GET /api/v1/task/{task_id}, poll GET /v1/jobs/{job_id} or pass webhook_url for a signed callback (X-KreatorFlow-Signature).

Is KreatorFlow part of PiAPI?

No. KreatorFlow is an independent company with no connection to PiAPI.

Is there volume pricing for the Seedance API?

Yes. Once your paid top-ups in the last 30 days reach $1,000, Seedance video costs up to 5% less per second, rising to up to 10% off at $5,000 (Enterprise), and your video request limit goes up with each tier. It applies automatically, with no contract, and each job's quote shows your price before it runs. For more volume than that, email harry@kreatorflow.ai.
