Seedance 2.0 API pricing in 2026: how the providers compare

What the Seedance 2.0 API costs per second and per clip, how billing works, how to price a clip and what to check in a provider. Every price is dated.

  • 1 token = $0.05
  • Billed per second

Short answer

Every Seedance API bills by the second of video, at a rate that rises with resolution. On the KreatorFlow API a 5-second Seedance 2.0 clip at 720p costs $0.55 ($0.110 per second, 11 tokens); the next lowest listed price for the same clip is $0.76 on Segmind. To price any clip, multiply the rate by the length, then check each provider for promotions, account discounts, rounding and whether a video input is billed on top.

How to work out what a clip costs

  1. 1

    Pick the model and resolution

The per-second rate depends on both: Seedance 2.0 Fast costs less than Seedance 2.0, and 1080p costs more than 720p because more pixels are rendered.

  2. 2

Multiply the rate by the clip length

That gives the raw price. On the KreatorFlow API, Seedance 2.0 at 720p is $0.110 per second, so 5 seconds come to $0.550.

  3. 3

    Apply the provider's rounding

KreatorFlow rounds each job up to the next whole token of $0.05: $0.550 becomes 11 tokens, $0.55. Other providers round per second, per job or in video tokens.

  4. 4

Add what the job sends in

If you pass a reference video, check whether the provider bills its input seconds as well; some do.

  5. 5

    Compare like for like

Same model, resolution, length and aspect ratio on every provider, at the price your account would pay today. The Seedance API price comparison does this setting by setting.

One row per setting, 5-second clip, 16:9, no video input. Only providers that publish the setting and cost more than KreatorFlow are listed, so a setting without one is left out. Prices checked 2 October 2026.

How Seedance API billing works

Per second: every provider sells Seedance by the second of generated video. A clip twice as long costs twice as much.

Per resolution: some providers bill in video tokens worked out from the frames generated, seconds × width × height × 24 / 1024. At 720p (1280 × 720) that is 21,600 tokens per second and at 1080p (1920 × 1080) 48,600, so the price follows the pixel count.

KreatorFlow tokens: on the KreatorFlow API you prepay tokens (1 token = $0.05, top-ups from $20 to $500). Each job is quoted before it is accepted, from the model, resolution and length, and the quote is what you are charged. Tokens reserved for a job that fails are released back to your balance.

Video input: on some providers a reference video changes the bill, because they charge for the input seconds as well as the output. The KreatorFlow quote is based on the output clip. Seedance 2.0 runs from 4 to 15 seconds on the API.

Worked example: one clip, step by step

A 5-second Seedance 2.0 clip at 720p on the KreatorFlow API: $0.110 per second × 5 seconds = $0.550. Rounded up to whole tokens that is 11 tokens, or $0.55.

The same sum for 10 seconds at 1080p: $0.240 × 10 = $2.400, so 48 tokens ($2.40).

A batch of 100 clips like the first one costs $55.

The next lowest listed price for that 720p clip is $0.76 on Segmind ($0.151 per second), so the KreatorFlow price is 27% lower.

What to check in a provider

The per-second price is only the starting point. Before you compare, check each provider's page for:

  • Promotions: launch prices and limited-time offers end. Compare the price you will pay after them; our comparison leaves promotions out.
  • Atlas Cloud shows a discount on its page today; we use that lower price so the difference is never overstated.
  • List or account price: some pages show visitors one price and a lower one after sign-in. Use the one your account pays.
  • Higgsfield API shows signed-in accounts 15% off its list price; we compare at that account price, the lower of the two.
  • Rounding: per second, per job or to a whole token, and whether there is a minimum length.
  • Video input: whether the seconds of a reference video are billed on top.
  • Audio: fal.ai's published rates include generated audio.
  • Same resolution and aspect ratio: the comparison uses 16:9 output, in US dollars before tax.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the Seedance 2.0 API cost?

On the KreatorFlow API, Seedance 2.0 at 720p is $0.110 per second: $0.55 for a 5-second clip (11 tokens of $0.05). Every model and resolution has its own rate; the comparison shows them all.

Which Seedance API has the cheapest listed price?

At every setting in the comparison, the KreatorFlow API price is below each provider listed for it. A provider that costs less at a setting is not listed there, so compare the exact setting you will use.

Why does 1080p cost more than 720p?

Because more pixels are generated. Under the video-token formula, 720p is 21,600 tokens per second and 1080p is 48,600.

Does a reference video cost extra?

On some providers, yes: they bill the input seconds as well as the output. On the KreatorFlow API the quote is based on the output clip and shown before the job is accepted.

How is a KreatorFlow API job rounded?

Rate × seconds, rounded up to the cent and then to the next whole token of $0.05. That quote is what you are charged, and tokens for a failed job are released.

Where do the other providers' prices come from?

From each provider's own pricing or model page, with the date it was read. We never use blogs or third-party figures, and we re-read every price at least every 90 days.

Is it the same Seedance model on every API?

Every provider in the comparison sells ByteDance's Seedance under that name. KreatorFlow is an official BytePlus partner.
