How to use these prompts
- 1
Copy a prompt
Press Copy on a card and paste it into the video studio. The suggested settings sit under every prompt.
- 2
Swap the subject and place
Keep the structure (subject, action, camera, light, sound) and replace the details with your own.
- 3
Add your references
If the prompt mentions "image 1" or an @handle, upload that image or pick your saved character.
- 4
Or start from a template
When a card links a template, open it: it sets the camera move and settings for you. Templates add 2 credits.
The library
Credits on each card are for the suggested settings without a template. 1080p needs the Pro, Max and Business plans. These prompts come without example visuals on purpose: we only show results that were generated from the exact prompt beside them.
Product ads
Clean hero shots and reveals. Add the product photo as a reference image so the label and shape stay right.
Perfume reveal
A glass perfume bottle on black marble, lit by a single soft key light. Gold mist drifts across the frame, then clears as the camera slowly pushes in to the bottle. Shallow depth of field, glossy reflections, luxury commercial look, no on-screen text.
Why it works: One product, one light and one camera move, with the reveal written as a before and after.

Sneaker flat lay
Top-down shot of a white sneaker on a pastel blue surface. The laces untie themselves, the sneaker rotates a quarter turn and small foam pellets bounce around it. Even studio light, crisp shadows, playful stop-motion feel.
Why it works: A fixed overhead angle keeps the product readable while small, specific actions add motion.

Skincare jar from a reference
The jar from image 1 stands on a wet stone in a bathroom lit by morning sun. Water droplets slide down its side, a hand opens the lid and scoops the cream, and the camera finishes on a close-up of the label. Fresh, clean, soft green tones.
Why it works: Pointing at "the jar from image 1" ties the product to your reference instead of an invented one.

Drink splash hero
Low angle on a cold soda can as ice cubes drop around it in slow motion and a splash of lemon water arcs past the lens. Bright summer backlight, condensation on the metal, punchy saturated colours.
Why it works: Slow motion plus a low angle makes a simple product feel big; condensation and backlight sell "cold".

UGC and talking head
Vertical, handheld and direct to camera. Put spoken lines in quotes and switch audio on.
Scroll-stopping hook
Vertical selfie video. A young woman in a bright kitchen leans into the camera holding a small serum bottle and says: "I did not expect this to work this fast." Natural window light, slight handheld shake, casual and genuine.
Why it works: A spoken line in quotes, a held product and handheld framing read as real UGC in the first second.

Desk unboxing
Vertical phone footage from above a wooden desk. Two hands open a matte black box, lift out a pair of wireless earbuds, turn the case towards the camera and click it open. Soft daylight, quiet room sound, the rustle of paper.
Why it works: Hands-only framing avoids face issues and keeps attention on the product; sound cues make it feel recorded.

Talking-head testimonial
Medium close-up of a man in his thirties sitting on a sofa, looking straight into the camera. He smiles and says: "Honestly, this saved me an hour every morning." Warm living-room light, phone-camera look, background slightly out of focus.
Why it works: Direct eye line, one short sentence and a fixed medium close-up keep lip movement and expression steady.

Get ready with me
Vertical mirror-selfie video in a small bedroom. A woman puts on gold earrings, ties back her hair, picks up a denim jacket and turns to the mirror with a quick smile. Golden-hour light through the blinds, casual and upbeat.
Why it works: A simple chain of everyday actions in one place gives the clip a natural rhythm without cuts.

Cinematic camera moves
Name the move, where it starts and where it ends. One move per shot reads best.
FPV dive through a canyon
FPV drone shot diving off a red sandstone cliff, skimming low over a winding river and banking hard through a narrow canyon, ending as it rises into open sky. Fast, smooth, slight motion blur, late-afternoon sun.
Why it works: The path is written as a route with a start and an end, which keeps a fast drone move coherent.

Dolly zoom in a corridor
Dolly zoom on a man standing at the end of a long hospital corridor: he stays the same size in frame while the corridor stretches away behind him. Flickering fluorescent light, cold green tones, tense silence.
Why it works: Naming the effect and saying what stays fixed and what stretches is what makes the push-pull read.

Crane down to the street
The shot opens on a pink dawn sky, then cranes slowly down past a glass tower to reveal a quiet city street where a cyclist rides through a crossing. Soft morning haze, long shadows, calm and hopeful.
Why it works: Starting on the sky and ending on a specific subject gives the reveal a clear payoff.

Whip pan between two worlds
A woman in a red coat looks out over a snowy mountain pass; the camera whip pans to the right and lands on the same woman, same coat, on a sunny beach boardwalk. Fast motion blur during the pan, matching framing on both sides.
Why it works: Keeping the subject and framing identical on both sides of the pan is what makes the transition feel like a match cut.

One long take through a market
One continuous handheld take: the camera follows a chef through a crowded morning fish market, past ice-covered stalls and shouting vendors, through a back door into a busy kitchen, and ends as he plates a dish under a warm pass light. No cuts, natural sound throughout.
Why it works: A single guide character and a route through connected spaces give a long take something to follow.

Character consistency with @handles
Save a character once, then call it by its @handle. Replace @mara and @leo with your own characters.
Quiet character moment
@mara sits by the window of a night train, city lights sliding across her face. She glances at her reflection, then back outside. Medium close-up, calm mood, soft rattle of the train.
Why it works: A small, readable action and a close framing show off the saved face without asking for big motion.

- 720p
- 15 credits
Same character, new scene
@leo walks down a rain-soaked alley at night in a dark trench coat, neon signs reflecting in the puddles. He stops, turns towards the camera and lifts his collar. Tracking shot from the front, moody cyberpunk lighting.
Why it works: The @handle carries the face; the prompt only has to describe the outfit, place and action of this scene.

Two characters talking
@mara and @leo sit across from each other in a retro diner booth. @mara slides a folded note across the table; @leo reads it, looks up and laughs. Over-the-shoulder framing, warm tungsten light, quiet diner chatter.
Why it works: Giving each @handle its own action keeps the two faces from blending into each other.

Character with your product
@mara holds the water bottle from image 1 at a sunny trailhead, takes a sip and points up the trail with a grin. Bright outdoor light, slight breeze in her hair, adventure ad look.
Why it works: Combining an @handle with a numbered reference image keeps both the face and the product on-model.

A morning with your character
One continuous shot: @mara wakes up in a sunlit loft, stretches, walks to the kitchen, pours coffee, steps onto a small balcony and looks out over the rooftops as the camera drifts back to a wide shot. Soft natural light, gentle city sounds.
Why it works: A long, ordered sequence of simple actions gives a saved character room to act in one take.

Motion and action
Describe the movement with physical detail: speed, weight, what moves and what stays still.
Bullet-time kick
A martial artist leaps into a spinning kick in an abandoned warehouse; at the peak, time freezes and the camera orbits half way around her while dust hangs in the air, then time snaps back to full speed as she lands.
Why it works: Freeze, orbit and release are written as three clear phases, which is how bullet time is built.

Dance to your track
The dancer from image 1 performs on a rooftop at sunset, moving to the beat of audio 1: sharp arm hits on the drums, smooth footwork on the melody. Full-body shot, camera slowly circling, warm city skyline behind.
Why it works: Linking body parts to parts of the music gives the model a rhythm to follow from your audio reference.

Gallop along the shore
A white horse gallops along the edge of the sea at golden hour, hooves throwing up spray, mane flowing. Side-on tracking shot at the same speed as the horse, low sun behind, slow motion.
Why it works: Matching the camera speed to the subject keeps fast motion sharp and stable in frame.

Wok on fire
Close-up of a chef tossing vegetables in a wok over a roaring flame; the fire flares up as the food flies, then settles. Steam, sparks, dark kitchen, loud sizzle.
Why it works: A short, physical action with a clear peak is easy to draft on Fast before a final render.

Anime and art styles
Put the style first and keep it to one look. Mixing several styles in one prompt muddies the result.
Anime rooftop
2D anime style. A girl in a school uniform stands on a rooftop at sunset, wind lifting her hair and scarf, cherry blossom petals drifting past. Slow push-in, soft cel shading, glowing orange sky.
Why it works: Leading with the style and keeping the motion gentle (wind, petals, push-in) suits a hand-drawn look.

- 720p
- 15 credits
Claymation fox
Claymation stop-motion style. A small orange clay fox in a knitted scarf builds a snowman in a miniature forest, visible fingerprints on the clay, slightly choppy frame rate, warm cosy lighting.
Why it works: Texture details (fingerprints, knitted scarf) and a choppy frame rate are what sell stop motion.

Film noir detective
Black-and-white film noir. A detective in a fedora lights a cigarette under a streetlamp, smoke curling through hard light, venetian-blind shadows across a brick wall behind him. Static camera, high contrast, rain on the pavement.
Why it works: A static camera and strong lighting cues let the style do the work instead of the motion.

- 720p

Watercolour storybook
Soft watercolour storybook illustration. A little boat with a paper sail drifts down a quiet river past willow trees, colours bleeding gently at the edges, paper texture visible. Slow sideways pan, peaceful mood.
Why it works: Describing the medium (bleeding colours, paper texture) gives a consistent painted look across the clip.

Why these prompts work
Every prompt follows the same order: what is in frame, what happens, how the camera moves, what the light is like and, with audio on, what is heard. Seedance responds better to one clear action and one camera move than to a list of adjectives.
The long-take prompts suggest Seedance 2.5, which allows longer clips in one shot. For drafts, try Seedance 2.0 Fast first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use these prompts for free?
Yes, copy and adapt them as much as you like. Generating video needs a paid plan; the cost of each suggested setting is on the card.
Do I have to write prompts in English?
No. Seedance understands prompts in other languages too. Use whichever language you describe the scene best in.
What is an @handle?
The name of a character you saved on KreatorFlow. Write it in the prompt and the model uses the same face in every image and video.
Why are there no example videos?
We only show results that were generated from the exact prompt beside them. These cards are text-only so nothing on the page is mismatched.
Which model should I use for each prompt?
The one suggested on the card. In general: Seedance 2.0 for final renders, Seedance 2.0 Fast for drafts and Seedance 2.5 for long takes.
