AI logo animation from your own logo file
Add your logo as an image reference and Seedance 2.0 builds a short reveal around it: a metal logo rising from water, a paper logo folding together, or light trails that draw it. Ask for a still ending so the last second works as an end card.
- 3 tested prompts
- From 10 credits a clip
- Seedance 2.0
- Seedance 2 Fast
What you can make
- A 4 to 5 second logo sting for the end of your videos
- Animated logos for presentations and event screens
- A square reveal for social profiles and stories
- Seasonal versions of the same logo
Prompts that work, with their settings
Paste a prompt into the video studio, set the options listed under it and add the references in the order shown. The first upload is “the first image” in the prompt.
Metal rise from water
The logo from the first image, made of brushed metal, rises out of dark water in slow motion, light ripples across its edges, ending centred and still on a black background. Keep the shape and colours of the logo exactly.

Seedance 2.0 keeps the logo's outline steadier than the faster model, and a water splash sound comes free with Generate audio.
Paper-cut assembly
The logo from the first image assembles from colourful paper pieces that fold and slide into place on a soft beige background, playful stop-motion feel, ending with the finished logo centred and still.

Square fits profile and story posts, and four seconds is the length of a social sting.
Light-trace draw
Glowing light trails draw the outline of the logo from the first image on a dark navy background, then the logo fills with its own colours, a soft lens flare, ending still for one second.

Free accounts can make video on Seedance 2 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p. A plan adds every video model, including Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, 720p (1080p and 4K on Pro and above), no queue and more credits. Creator renders up to 720p; 1080p is on the Pro, Max and Business plans. The studio shows the exact cost before you generate, and credits for a failed clip come back automatically. For a whole campaign, the AI video cost calculator adds it up.
Start from a still image
If your only logo file is small or sits on a busy background, clean it up in the image studio with the logo as a reference, then animate the result. A Seedream 4.5 image is 2 credits.
Image studio prompt
The logo from the reference image, centred on a plain white background, flat colours, sharp clean edges, no other elements
Step by step
- 1
Prepare a clean logo
Use a large PNG or JPG of the logo on a plain background. Small or busy files give the model too little to hold on to.
- 2
Add it as the first image
Choose Seedance 2.0 in the video studio and add the logo as an image reference.
- 3
Describe the material and the ending
Say what the logo is made of (metal, paper, light) and how it ends: "centred and still".
- 4
Check the shape frame by frame
Compare the last frame with your logo. If an edge drifts, regenerate or shorten the clip.
Tips for better results
- Simple marks animate best; long wordmarks can wobble, so animate the symbol and add the name in your editor.
- Ask for a solid background colour you can key out if you need the logo over other footage.
- Use the same prompt with your brand colours named ("navy and coral") to keep every sting on brand.
- Make a 1:1 and a 9:16 version from the same prompt instead of cropping one.
Mistakes to avoid
- Uploading a tiny favicon-sized logo: start from the largest file you have.
- Animating a logo you do not own: only use your own brand's mark or one you have permission to use.
- Fast spinning moves: they blur thin lines. Slow reveals keep the mark readable.
Camera templates that fit
One-click camera moves from the template library. A template adds 2 credits to the clip's price; the card shows the total.
Questions
Can I animate my existing logo?
Yes. Add it as an image reference (Seedance 2.0 takes up to 9) and say "keep the shape and colours of the logo exactly". Image references add no credits: a 5-second 720p sting is 15 credits.
Can I get a transparent background?
The clip comes with a background. Ask for a plain solid colour that does not appear in your logo, then key it out in your editor.
My logo text looks wrong. What should I do?
Lettering is the hardest part for any video model. Animate the symbol alone and add the name as a title in your editor, or use a shorter clip with a slower move.
Make your first logo animation clip
