What Seedream 5.0 Pro is for
Seedream 5.0 Pro is the model to reach for when the image is the one you ship: the product shot for a store page, the portrait for a campaign, the key visual for a thumbnail. Pick it when fine detail such as skin, fabric, hair or packaging matters more than speed or price, and write the prompt with the same care: subject, setting, light, lens and composition.
Reference images steer it. Add up to 10 photos of a face, a product or a style and describe what should change, or type a saved character's @handle to keep the same person across a whole set of images. The result is saved to your assets, where you can edit it with a text prompt or use it as the first frame of a video.
Seedream 4.5 stays in the studio as the default model because it is cheaper per image, goes up to 4K and makes batches. A common workflow is to explore ideas on 4.5, then render the chosen idea on 5.0 Pro.
