What Seedance 2.5 is good at
Seedance 2.0 and the other studio models stop at 15 seconds, which forces longer ideas into several generations that then have to be cut together. Seedance 2.5 lets you ask for 30 seconds in one shot, so a walk through a location, a product demo, a slow reveal or a short dialogue beat can play out as one continuous take with the same lighting and the same subject from start to finish.
It follows camera direction written in plain language: a slow push-in, an orbit, a crane down or a handheld feel. It also reads references. Add up to 9 images for faces, products or style, up to 3 clips for motion, and up to 3 audio files for rhythm or voice, or call a saved character by its @handle to keep the same person on screen.
In the studio, Seedance 2.5 sits next to Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2 Fast and Seedance 1.5, so you can draft an idea cheaply on a faster model and switch to 2.5 when you need the length.

Prompting tips for 30-second clips
Write the clip as a short sequence of beats rather than one sentence. For example: the camera starts wide on a quiet street at dusk, pushes slowly towards a lit cafe window, then drifts inside to settle on a barista pouring latte art. One subject and one continuous camera path keep long clips coherent; several unrelated actions in one prompt tend to blur together.
If the same person has to appear in several clips, create them once in the AI character generator. To animate a photo you already have, start from image to video. For ready-made camera moves, the video effects templates set everything up for you.

How is Seedance 2.5 different from Seedance 2.0?
Seedance 2.0 makes clips of 4 to 15 seconds; Seedance 2.5 goes up to 30 seconds in one shot. Both take the same references (9 images, 3 clips, 3 audio files) and render 480p to 4K. Seedance 2.5 costs more per second, so Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2 Fast remain the cheaper choice for short clips and drafts. Editing an existing video (transform, restyle, extend) still runs on Seedance 2.0.
How many credits does a Seedance 2.5 video cost?
A 5-second clip costs 24 credits at 480p, 50 credits at 720p, 54 credits at 1080p, 120 credits at 4K. At 720p, 5 seconds costs 50 credits, 15 seconds costs 150 credits, 30 seconds costs 300 credits. Generated audio does not change the price. The studio shows the exact cost before you generate, and failed jobs are refunded automatically.
Which plan do I need for Seedance 2.5?
Video generation starts on the Creator plan, which renders up to 720p. Pro, Max and Business also render 1080p and 4K. New accounts get 10 one-time starter credits, which cover images only.
Does Seedance 2.5 add a watermark?
No. KreatorFlow requests every Seedance render with the provider watermark switched off and adds no logo of its own, so the clip you download is clean.
