Short answer
An AI CCTV animal video is a short clip that looks like security camera, doorbell or trail-cam footage of an animal doing something unexpected, like rabbits bouncing on a trampoline. To make one, open the video studio on Seedance 2.5, describe the camera first (fixed, high angle, night vision), then the place, the animal and the one surprising action, turn generated audio on for quiet ambient sound, and generate 8 seconds. Label it as AI when you post. That is 38 credits for 8 seconds at 720p.

How to make the CCTV animal clip
- 1
Open the video studio on Seedance 2.5
Pick 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or 16:9 if you want the real wide security-camera frame. 5 to 10 seconds is the usual length: long enough for the surprise, short enough to rewatch.
- 2
Write the camera first
Start the prompt with the camera: "night-vision security camera, fixed wide angle, mounted high, slight fisheye". Then the place, the animal and the action. Say "no camera movement" so the model doesn't add a cinematic move that gives it away.
- 3
Give the animal one surprising action
One thing happens: a bear sits on a porch swing, a raccoon rings the doorbell, a fox steals a slipper. Several actions in one short clip look rushed.
- 4
Use your own pet (optional)
Save a clear photo of your pet as a Character or Asset and use its @handle in the prompt, so the fur and markings stay right.
- 5
Turn audio on and generate
Ask for quiet ambient sound: crickets, wind, a distant car. Generated audio does not change the price. Test the idea first: 24 credits for 5 seconds at 720p. The finished clip is 38 credits for 8 seconds at 720p. The exact price is on the Generate button before anything is charged, and failed generations give the credits back.
CCTV animal prompts
Paste one into the video studio on Seedance 2.5 with generated audio on. Swap the animal and the action to make your own.
Rabbits on the trampoline (night vision)
Black-and-white night-vision security camera footage, fixed wide angle mounted high on a garden fence, slight fisheye. A backyard with a small round trampoline. Three wild rabbits hop onto the trampoline one by one and start bouncing, one flips over and lands on its back, then all three hop off into the bushes. Grainy low-resolution image, slight compression blocks, faint infrared glow, no camera movement at all. Audio: crickets, the soft creak of trampoline springs, a distant dog bark.
Doorbell camera visitor
Colour doorbell camera footage, fisheye lens looking down at a front porch at dusk, porch light on. A raccoon walks up the steps, stands on its hind legs, presses the doorbell button with one paw, then looks straight into the camera and waddles away. Slightly washed-out colours, a small motion blur, fixed camera, no camera movement. Audio: a doorbell chime, footsteps on wood, evening birds.
Your pet at home (with your pet's @handle)
Indoor home security camera footage from a high corner of a living room, wide angle, daylight from a window, slightly grainy. @mypet jumps onto the kitchen counter, looks around to check nobody is watching, nudges a cup to the edge and sits down proudly next to it. Fixed camera, no camera movement. Audio: a ticking clock, a soft thud as it lands.

What is the AI CCTV animal trend?
It is a format, not a single meme: fake security footage of animals. The best-known example, AI rabbits bouncing on a backyard trampoline, went viral on TikTok in July 2025, and copycats followed with bears, foxes and lions. A guide published on 7 October 2026 describes it as a repeatable viral format with backyard CCTV, doorbell, trail-cam, indoor and night-vision versions, and fact-checkers were still tracking new clips in 2026.
It works because the camera feels ordinary. A fixed angle, a dull setting and a slightly bad image make the one unexpected action feel real.
Tips for a believable clip
Order the prompt the way the guide above suggests: camera, place, animal, action, light, image flaws, then sound. Image flaws matter: "grainy", "compression blocks", "slight motion blur" and "infrared glow" do more for realism than any quality word.
Add a timestamp or REC icon afterwards in the free video editor if you want one, rather than asking the model to draw text.
Post it as AI, not as real footage
These clips fool people, which is exactly why fact-checkers write about them. Use the platform's AI label or say it in the caption, and never present the clip as news or as a real event. Don't put a real camera brand's logo or a real place's name on it.
Fake footage meant to deceive breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, and on most platforms unlabelled realistic AI video can be taken down.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make an AI CCTV video for free?
New accounts get 25 starter credits for images and video. Free video covers Seedance 2 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p only, queued and rate limited. Other video models and 1080p and above need a plan. Seedance 2.5 is on the paid plans, starting with Creator.
Which AI makes the security camera animal videos?
Any good text-to-video model can. On KreatorFlow, Seedance 2.5 makes them with sound in one generation. KreatorFlow is an official partner of BytePlus, a ByteDance company.
Can I use my own pet?
Yes. Save a clear, sharp photo of your pet as a Character or Asset and use its @handle in the prompt, so its fur and markings stay the same.
How do I make it look like real CCTV?
Describe the camera first, say "fixed camera, no camera movement", and ask for image flaws: grain, compression blocks, night vision. Keep it to one action in 5 to 10 seconds.
Do I have to say it's AI?
Yes. Label it with the platform's AI tag or in the caption. Passing it off as real footage is deceptive and not allowed under our Acceptable Use Policy.
