Kiryū for TikTok
AI TikTok video analyzer
Upload a TikTok and Kiryu watches it frame by frame, listens to the sound and tells you, with timestamps, what's working and what's losing viewers: the hook, retention, captions, sound and call to action. Then it gives you the three fixes that would help most.
- Upload the file, posted or draft
- Frame by frame, with the audio
- Checked against TikTok safe zones
- Top 3 fixes and a new opening
- Official BytePlus partner
- 1 free video review a day

What an AI TikTok analyzer actually tells you
An AI TikTok video analyzer looks at the video itself and explains why people would keep watching or swipe. Kiryu samples the frames (most densely in the first seconds, where TikTok viewers decide), transcribes the speech, reads every caption word for word and notes where the cuts and silences fall. Its review cites that timeline, so a note reads like "00:01.5: the caption sits under the like button" rather than "improve your captions".
It doesn't see your analytics, so it pairs well with them. TikTok tells you when people left (the retention graph in the post's analytics) and Kiryu tells you what was on screen at that moment.
How to analyze a TikTok with Kiryu
- 1
Upload the video file
Drop the TikTok into a Kiryu chat, or pick it from your KreatorFlow library. Use the original export if you have it: a TikTok saved from the app carries the TikTok watermark, which can turn up in the notes as on-screen text.
- 2
Say it's for TikTok and what it should do
One line is enough, for example "TikTok, trying to get comments" or "TikTok, retention drops at 0:04, why?". The platform tells Kiryu which safe zones and length to check against.
- 3
Read the notes, then fix it
You get a note for each check with a timestamp, the three fixes that matter most, and a rewritten opening. Ask Kiryu to cut the dead spots, re-caption or add a hook title and it sets that up in the same chat.
What the analyzer checks
The hook
The first three seconds: what a viewer sees, reads and hears, and whether they would stop scrolling.
Retention and pacing
Shot lengths, dead spots and the moments attention is likely to drop, segment by segment.
Clarity of the idea
Whether it is obvious what the video is and why someone should keep watching.
Captions and on-screen text
The wording, quoted back to you, plus timing, placement, legibility and safe zones.
Audio
Voice against music, music fit, sound design and silences.
Visual quality
Framing, lighting and visible artefacts.
Call to action
Whether there is one, when it lands and whether it is clear.
Platform fit
Aspect ratio, safe zones and length for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
How the checks apply to TikTok
The same review rubric, with what it most often catches on TikTok.
| Check | What Kiryu looks at | What it often catches on TikTok |
|---|---|---|
| The hook | The first frame, the first line of text and the first words, and whether anything moves or changes before the thumb does. | Nothing changes in the first second, or the video opens on a greeting or a logo. |
| Retention and pacing | Shot lengths, pauses and segments where nothing new happens. | A long take with no new information, which shows up as a dip in TikTok's retention graph at the same second. |
| Captions and on-screen text | The exact wording, how long each line stays up, and where it sits. | Text in the bottom strip or the right edge, where TikTok's caption, username and buttons cover it. |
| Audio | Voice against music, silences and sound effects. | A trending sound so loud that the spoken point gets lost, or a silent gap at the start. |
| Call to action | Whether there is one, when it lands and if it's clear. | A follow or comment prompt that only arrives after most people have already left. |
| Platform fit | Ratio, safe zones and length. | Black bars from a 16:9 clip, or a video that runs long for how much it has to say. |
TikTok details worth checking yourself
- Read the retention graph first. In TikTok's analytics for the post, find the second where the line drops hardest, then tell Kiryu that timestamp. A steep drop in the first two seconds is a hook problem. A slow slide all the way through is usually pacing or an unclear point.
- Keep text in the middle of the frame. On TikTok the right edge holds the like, comment and share buttons, and the bottom holds your username and caption. Kiryu flags text that lands there.
- Sound carries more weight on TikTok. Most people watch with the sound on, so a muddy voiceover or a song that buries the point costs more here than on feeds that start muted. Captions still matter for anyone watching silently.
- Say the topic early. Many people search TikTok the way they search the web. Naming the topic in the first line and on screen helps both the viewer and search.
- Check the traffic source. If most views came from your followers and few from the For You feed, the video may be fine and simply hasn't been tested widely yet. Our guide to why a TikTok flops goes through the causes that aren't in the video.
What you get back

- A rewritten opening: on-screen text, first line and first shot
- The timeline of what Kiryu saw, to check any note yourself
- An offer to make the edit, such as cutting dead spots or re-captioning

TikTok analyzer questions
Can AI analyze my TikTok video?
Yes. Upload the video to Kiryu and it watches it frame by frame, closest in the opening seconds, transcribes what's said and builds a timeline of every shot and caption. The review is written against that timeline, so every note has a timestamp you can check.
Can I paste a TikTok link instead of uploading?
No. Kiryu reviews video files, so upload the TikTok from your camera roll, drafts or editor export. It works the same on a draft you haven't posted yet.
Does the analyzer see my views or the For You algorithm?
No. It only sees the video. It can't read your TikTok analytics, your follower count or why TikTok showed the video to some people and not others. Use TikTok's own analytics for the numbers, and Kiryu for what in the video caused them.
Will it tell me if my TikTok will go viral?
No, and nothing honest can. What it does is point out the things that commonly lose viewers, such as a slow first second, captions under the buttons or a point that arrives too late, with the moment each one happens.
Is the TikTok analyzer free?
A verified free account gets 1 free video review a day, together with 15 chat messages. Paid plans include more reviews in their daily Kiryu allowance.
Which language is the analysis in?
The language you write your message in. Quoted captions and speech stay exactly as they are in the video, so a Spanish TikTok reviewed in English still quotes the Spanish text.
