How to choose on your own shot

  1. 1

    Price the clip

Pick the length and resolution you will actually ship and read both prices in the table below. The API also returns a quote before any job runs.

  2. 2

Run one prompt on Wan 3.0

POST /v1/videos with model "kreator-video-wan-3" at 720p. It is the lower-cost draft.

  3. 3

Run the same prompt on Seedance 2.0

Change the model to "kreator-video-seedance-2" and keep every other field. Add reference clips or audio if the shot needs them.

  4. 4

    Keep the better take

Compare both with sound, then render the final at 1080p, or 4K on Seedance 2.0, on the model that won.

What about quality?

We publish no side-by-side test results, so this guide makes no quality ranking. What the code does tell you is where each model can go: Seedance 2.0 renders up to 4K and takes reference video and audio clips in one job; Wan 3.0 renders up to 1080p, takes reference images or saved characters, and makes longer single takes.

Both are run through the same KreatorFlow key and the same request shape, so testing one prompt on each costs a few cents at 720p and settles the question for your own shot.

When to use which

  • High-volume social clips, drafts and variations at 720p or 1080p: Wan 3.0.
  • Delivery in 4K, or a shot that needs reference video or audio: Seedance 2.0.
  • Single takes longer than 15 seconds in one request: Wan 3.0 (up to 30 s).
  • Heavy Seedance spend: the volume tiers lower Seedance video automatically; Wan 3.0 stays at its list rate.

Rate limits and failed jobs

Up to 5 Wan 3.0 jobs run at once across the platform; when it is full the API answers 429 with Retry-After and reserves nothing. Seedance video requests per minute rise with your volume tier. On both, tokens reserved for a failed or refused job go back to your balance.
