How to get your video back faster
- 1
Test the idea small
Try the idea as an image or a short clip before you commit to a long render. Images come back in under 2 minutes, so you can fix the look and the framing cheaply.
- 2
Start at 720p
Draft at 720p, then render the keeper at 1080p. On most models 720p comes back sooner.
- 3
Keep clips as short as the shot
On models whose time grows with length, every extra second adds render time. Cut long scenes into shorter shots.
- 4
Queue several ideas at once
Start a few generations together instead of waiting on one. They render side by side, and you can compare the results when they land.
Typical AI video render times
These are KreatorFlow's default estimates, fitted from 2,561 finished jobs between 1 and 15 October 2026 and from later production measurements for Kling and Wan, measured from the job's start to the finished file.
In short: about 2 to 7 minutes for most clips. On Seedance 2.5 a 5 second clip at 720p takes about 3 min and a 10 second clip at 1080p takes about 5.5 min. Busy hours can add time on top, and the studio's live estimate follows that.
| Model | 5 s at 720p | 10 s at 720p | 5 s at 1080p | 10 s at 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5 | about 3 min | about 3.5 min | about 5 min | about 5.5 min |
| Seedance 2.0 | about 3.5 min | about 4.5 min | about 4 min | about 5.5 min |
| Wan 3.0 Prime | about 3 min | about 3 min | about 3 min | about 3.5 min |
| Wan 3.0 | about 4 min | about 4 min | about 4.5 min | about 6.5 min |
How long does an AI image take?
Images are much quicker than video: under 2 minutes on the image models in the studio. Seedream 5.0 Pro takes about 65 s, and Seedream 4.5 (2K) takes about 30 s.
That is why testing an idea as an image is the quickest way to settle the look before you spend a video render on it.
| Model | Typical time |
|---|---|
| Seedream 5.0 Pro | about 65 s |
| Seedream 4.5 (2K) | about 30 s |
Video edits, lip sync and audio
A Kitsune video edit of a 10 second clip takes about 5 min at 720p and about 7 min at 1080p. Edits usually take longer than a plain clip of the same length, because the source video has to be processed too.
Lip sync and audio depend on the length of the audio track, so there is no single typical time. The studio shows its own estimate for each job as soon as it starts.
| Job | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|
| Kitsune edit, 10 s clip | about 5 min | about 7 min |
Why is my AI video taking so long?
Much of the wait is often the queue, not your clip. AI video models run on shared GPU clusters, and at busy hours jobs wait their turn before rendering starts. A clip that came back quickly in the morning can take longer in the evening.
On some models the queue is most of the time, so a shorter clip barely saves anything.
Longer clips and 1080p add time on top on most models. If a job runs far past its estimate, it is usually still in a queue; a job that never finishes is closed by the studio, and the guide on failed generations explains what happens to its credits.
Does a longer clip or 1080p take longer?
Usually yes, but by very different amounts per model. Going from a 5 second to a 10 second clip at 1080p adds: Seedance 2.5 about 30 s, Seedance 2.0 about 85 s, Wan 3.0 Prime about 10 s, Wan 3.0 about 2 min.
Wan 3.0 grows the most with length and Wan 3.0 Prime the least. Seedance grows steadily with every extra second.
Going from 720p to 1080p on a 5 second clip adds: Seedance 2.5 about 2 min, Seedance 2.0 about 35 s, Wan 3.0 Prime about 20 s, Wan 3.0 about 45 s.
Why the progress bar slows near the end
The progress bar eases off as it nears the end so that it does not overshoot and sit at 100% while the file is still being made. A slow last stretch does not mean the job is stuck.
The estimate behind it is recalibrated from the last finished jobs on the same model and resolution, so when a model slows down or speeds up the bar follows within the hour. When the defaults were fitted, they were about 20% off on the median job.
What to do while your video renders
Only members on a paid plan (Creator, Pro, Max or Business) can compete and win. Lite and Free accounts can play practice runs while a generation runs, but never rank, and 48-hour trial accounts can rank but cannot win prizes. Paid members can play Frame Stack, Render Runner or Pixel Merge right in the generating block, and 1st place in each game wins 100 credits, 2nd 50 and 3rd 25, paid once the day's results are verified.
Runs count for the boards while one of your generations is running or within 15 minutes after it finished. Free and Lite accounts can play practice runs while a generation runs, but those runs never rank. Nobody is guaranteed a prize: each podium goes to the day's top scores.
What if a generation fails?
Sometimes a job fails instead of finishing: a prompt is refused, a source file cannot be read, or the model errors out. The studio shows a message on the job that says why.
What happens to the credits, when a refund lands and where to see it is all in the guide on failed generations.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an AI video take to generate?
On KreatorFlow, about 2 to 7 minutes from start to finished file for most clips. On Seedance 2.5 a 5 second clip at 720p takes about 3 min and a 10 second clip at 1080p about 5.5 min. Busy hours can add time.
Why is my AI video taking so long?
Usually the queue. Video models run on shared GPUs, and at busy hours jobs wait before rendering starts. Longer clips and 1080p add time on top on most models. The studio's estimate follows the latest finished jobs, so it reflects a slow queue within the hour.
Does a longer clip take longer to render?
On most models, yes. From 5 to 10 seconds at 1080p adds Seedance 2.5 about 30 s, Seedance 2.0 about 85 s, Wan 3.0 Prime about 10 s, Wan 3.0 about 2 min.
Does 1080p take longer than 720p?
Yes on every model in the table. On a 5 second clip, 1080p adds Seedance 2.5 about 2 min, Seedance 2.0 about 35 s, Wan 3.0 Prime about 20 s, Wan 3.0 about 45 s. Draft at 720p and render the keeper at 1080p.
Why does the progress bar slow down near the end?
On purpose. The bar eases off near the end so it does not overshoot and sit at 100% while the file is still being made. A slow last stretch does not mean the job is stuck.
How long does an AI image take?
Under 2 minutes. Seedream 5.0 Pro takes about 65 s and Seedream 4.5 (2K) takes about 30 s.
Is the time estimate accurate?
It is a rough guide. The defaults were about 20% off on the median job when they were fitted, and the studio recalibrates them from the last finished jobs on the same model and resolution, so a slower or faster queue shows up within the hour.
What can I do while my video renders?
Only members on a paid plan (Creator, Pro, Max or Business) can compete and win. Lite and Free accounts can play practice runs while a generation runs, but never rank, and 48-hour trial accounts can rank but cannot win prizes. On a paid plan, play Frame Stack, Render Runner or Pixel Merge in the generating block: 1st place in each game wins 100 credits, 2nd 50 and 3rd 25, paid once the day's results are verified. Free and Lite accounts get practice runs that never rank.
Do I lose credits if a generation fails?
See the guide "Did a failed AI video use my credits?" for how failed jobs are handled, when the credits come back and where the refund shows.
